Resumen: Denise Phé-Funchal, escritora guatemalteca, constituye una de las voces narrativas más contemporáneas de la narrativa centroamericana. A lo largo de esta entrevista conversamos con Denise acerca de la literatura centroamericana y guatemalteca, la relevancia que ocupa la mujer escritora en el contexto centroamericano, su concepción en torno a la escritura ficcional, las tendencias temáticas y estilísticas que caracterizan su obra, así como el fenómeno de la industria editorial y la crítica literaria.

Abstract: Denise Phé-Funchal, Guatemalan writer, is one of the most contemporary narrative voices of Central American narrative. Throughout this interview, we talk with Denise about Central American and Guatemalan literature, the relevance of the woman writer in the context of Central America, her assumptions about fictional writing, the thematic and stylistic tendencies that characterize her work, as well as the phenomenon of the editorial industry and literary criticism.
