Resumen: En esta edición de la revista reproducimos el folleto I Congreso de Escritores Centroamericanos. Síntesis del Evento, por Benjamín Paniagua Santizo. Guatemala, C.A. – Enero de 1966 publicado en Guatemala por la Asociación de Autores y Amigos del Libro Nacional en febrero de 1967. Documenta la celebración de dicho congreso y la fundación de la Federación Centroamericana de Escritores, en el contexto de los proyectos de integración centroamericana de los años sesenta del siglo XX.

Abstract: In this issue of the journal, we reproduce the booklet I Congreso de Escritores Centroamericanos. Síntesis del Evento, por Benjamín Paniagua Santizo. Guatemala, C.A. – Enero de 1966 (1st Congress of Central American Writers. Synthesis of the Event, by Benjamín Paniagua Santizo, Guatemala, C.A. – January of 1966) published in Guatemala by the Association of Authors and Friends of the National Book in February of 1967. It documents the celebration of this congress as well as the founding of the Central American Association of Writers, in the context of projects of Central American integration in the decade of 1960s.
