Resumen: Este dossier da a conocer algunos de los trabajos presentados en el Simposio: “Del Popol Vuh a Ixcanul. Representaciones del otro en la literatura y el arte centroamericano contemporáneo” promovido por la Cátedra Wilhelm y Alexander von Humboldt en Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales, la Universidad de Costa Rica y el Instituto de Historia de Nicaragua y Centroamérica de la Universidad Centroamericana de Managua, simposio realizado en el marco del encuentro de escritores Centroamérica Cuenta en Managua en mayo de 2017.

Abstract: This dossier exposes some of the papers presented at the Symposium “Del Popol Vuh a Ixcanul. Representaciones del otro en la literatura y el arte centroamericano contemporáneo”, promoted by the Wilhelm and Alexander von Humboldt Chair in Humanities and Social Sciences, the University of Costa Rica and the Institute of History of Nicaragua and Central America of the Central American University of Managua, symposium held in the frame of the meeting of Central American writers Centroamérica Cuenta in Managua in May, 2017.
